On Saturday night, a team from M&J took on the incredible challenge of the Shine Night Walk, completing a half marathon through the streets of London in support of a truly worthy cause.
Cancer is something that has touched all of us in some way, whether through family, friends or colleagues. This year, however, the event held an even greater significance for our team. Over the last 12 months, our very own Chris Villers has shown extraordinary strength and determination in his recovery from pancreatic cancer. To walk alongside a colleague who has faced such a difficult journey and come through the other side made the experience even more special. It was a powerful reminder of why fundraising, awareness and support for cancer charities are so important.
We could not be prouder of every single member of the team. Completing a half marathon overnight is no small feat, but the encouragement, camaraderie and determination shown throughout the walk perfectly reflected the values that make M&J such a great place to work.
A huge well done to the whole team, and thank you to all those who supported and donated. Together, we made a difference for a cause that means so much to so many. To raise almost £15k is incredible!
